About us
comparis.ch is Switzerland’s leading comparison platform. For almost 30 years, we have been creating transparency and helping people make the right decisions – whether for health insurance, insurance products, telecom, banking services, or on our online marketplace for cars and real estate. With over 80 million visits per year, we are among the most visited websites in Switzerland, and four out of five people know us as the independent comparison platform.

With our automotive marketplace, we operate one of the largest car marketplaces in Switzerland. At the same time, we are expanding our ecosystem around leasing, financing, insurance, and additional automotive services, with the goal of making buying and selling cars as simple, transparent, and digital as possible.

And this is where you come in.
What you will do
As a Digital Product Manager Automotive, you will actively shape one of Comparis’ most strategically important business areas. You will develop the product portfolio for car buying, selling, and complementary services along the entire customer journey – from search and valuation to closing services such as leasing, loans, or insurance.

You think in platform ecosystems, understand both dealers and end users, and ideally have a passion for cars.

Your Responsibilities
  • You define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for the automotive marketplace ecosystem.
  • You analyse user, dealer, and market needs and translate them into features, optimizations, or entirely new offerings and defining clear success metrics along the way. (B2C and B2B)
  • You improve how users discover and explore vehicles, optimizing search, listings, and comparison journeys to increase engagement and dealer leads.
  • You expand entry points and touchpoints (e.g. search & listing features, tools, partnerships, campaigns) to drive reach and conversion.
  • You identify opportunities to grow traffic and entry points into the automotive vertical.
  • You design and test new ways to extend the user journey into services such as leasing, financing, and insurance.
  • You use analytics and experimentation to understand user behaviour and continuously improve conversion across the funnel.
  • You prioritize the product backlog and work closely with your agile team.
  • You collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial partners.
  • You contribute your own ideas
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and motivated to build things with real impact and a commercial mindset.
  • Several years of experience in product management in digital environments, ideally consumer platforms, marketplaces, comparison products, mobility, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of automotive customer journeys (car buying/selling, leasing, loans, insurance).
  • Strong interest in understanding user behaviour and improving complex journeys through data and experimentation.
  • Experience with web analytics and experimentation tools (e.g. Google Analytics, A/B testing).
  • Confident working with agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
  • Clear communicator who works well with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.
  • English is the working language. Very good German is a strong plus.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in B2B dealer business (lead flows, inventory management, integrations).
  • Experience with fintech, lending, or insurance products.
  • Experience improving search, discovery, or conversion funnels on high-traffic platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEA, and GEO, as many journeys start digitally.
  • You love cars and are enthusiastic about mobility trends, powertrain technologies, and market developments.
In return, here is what you can expect from us
At Comparis, product teams have real ownership. You will have the freedom to shape the automotive marketplace and test ideas that improve how millions of users explore and compare cars.

You will work in a collaborative environment with engineers, designers and commercial teams where decisions are driven by data and experimentation.

We offer flexible working hours, a hybrid working model with remote and workation options, and the possibility of unpaid leave. Our office is centrally located in Zürich, a short walk from Wiedikon station.
